Daun Sirih is a unique toothpaste from Indonesia with a mild fresh taste and gentle foaming based on the extract of betel leaves (Piper betle). She has a natural anti-inflammatory effect, without the addition of fluoride.
The antibacterial effect of the toothpaste against cariogenic microorganisms is at least 3 times better than that of a toothpaste with 1440 ppm fluoride (based on sodium fluoride). The Indonesian dental care series Daun Sirih offers caries prevention without fluoride. It contains the extract of betel pepper leaves, a pepper plant with antibacterial properties. Betel pepper has been proven to be effective against the caries pathogen Streptococcus mutans.
Betel pepper (Piper betle) has been used for hundreds of years in traditional Indonesian and Ayurvedic medicine and is used, particularly in Southeast Asia, as a remedy for headaches, toothaches, arthritis and joint pain, as well as as a stimulant and as an antiseptic.

Gute Zahnpasta mit natürlicher Formel
Die Daun Sirih Zahnpasta hat eine angenehme, frische Kräuternote und fühlt sich sehr natürlich an. Sie reinigt gut und hinterlässt ein sauberes Gefühl. Ein Stern Abzug, weil der Geschmack etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist. Trotzdem eine tolle Alternative zu herkömmlichen Zahnpasten!
