The "Pasta del Capitano" brand has a long tradition: Dr. Clemente Ciccarelli, captain of the Royal Army, doctor and chemist invented the famous Pasta del Capitano toothpaste in 1905. Until then, there was only powder for dental care, so the invention was a milestone. Later, his son Nicola printed the inventor's portrait on the packaging in his honour. Nicola marketed his product in Italian TV shows with a lot of humour.

Pasta del Capitano thus became an Italian classic. To this day, pasta has held its own on the market, even though international companies have long since taken firm control of the dental hygiene market. Passion, attention and transparency are the unwritten ingredients with which Pasta del Capitano can score points alongside high quality and good taste.
